Web Developer

Design, create, and modify web sites. Web developers also analyze user-needs to implement Web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity. Developers may integrate web sites with other computer applications. They may also convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats by utilizing software.

“I was unsure what I wanted to do when I graduated. A friend of my mother’s worked as a career coach and suggested I take a career interest inventory survey. I did, and it showed my interests were predominantly in the IT sector. I went with it, and the rest is history! The IT landscape is constantly changing. In order to be effective in this industry, you need to be in a continual learning cycle to keep up with the changes. I’ve always enjoyed learning and pushing my own boundaries,  which helps keep the work fresh and fun.”
